About The Yellow House
The Yellow House on Plott Creek Road is nestled between Asheville, NC and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Our 5 acre grounds are filled with ponds and gardens, pine trees and rhododendrons, and wildlife indigenous to the mountain habitat. The main house was built in 1885 as a summer residence, and can be described as neo-classical. Several improvements have been made to the original structure, including a wrap-around verandah, 3 luxury suites and a library. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
