The Mansion House Bed and Breakfast, a historic property, is in the heart of the Old Northeast St. Petersburg. Winner of the St. Petersburg Beautification Award, 1993, and the Chamber of Commerce Building Enhancement Award, 1994. Innkeepers Kathy and Peter Plautz strive to maintain a warm and friendly American exprience with a decidedly international flavor. The beautifully restored inn has 13 rooms with private baths and offers a full breakfast. Private label soap, robes, Jacuzzi, and stocked guest refrigerators are provided. Antiques from Australia, Brazil, and around the world are dispersed throughout the house. The Mansion House is convenient to cultural and sports attractions, waterfront, restaurants and shopping, and The Renassance Vinoy Resort,Heritage Holiday Inn and Hilton St Petersburg. Private boat cruises are available and there are bicycles to borrow. Weddings are performed on site. Courtyard gatherings, receptions inside or out can be accommodated and catering for functions is available.
