This relaxed retreat within the posh Princeville community encompasses 16 low-rise stucco buildings on 22 lush acres above Hanalei Bay. Leisure travelers, families, and celebrating couples looking for value, seclusion, and old-style Hawaii accommodations frequent this hotel. This hillside resort features a sandy-bottom, free form pool with waterfalls and spa tub grotto. Walking and jogging paths lined with lush foliage lead down to a crescent beach offering panoramic views of Hanalei Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Eight tennis courts are available, and a tennis pro is on-site daily for coaching and lessons. A regularly scheduled, complimentary shuttle operates between points within the Princeville Resort only, from morning to early evening. Please note there is a USD 50 departure cleaning fee that will be collected at check-in. In order to improve the overall resort experience at Hanalei Bay Resort, the Fitness Center, Sundry Shop, Massage Tent, Happy Talk Lounge and Restaurant are closed for renovations that began November 1, 2011 and will last approximately 24 months. The main pool and hot tub, as well as Tropical Watersports, will be closed for renovation starting November 2, 2011. The lower pool will be open for guest use. The guest is charged a USD 5.00 per night resort fee. This is charged by the resort directly and is not collected by anyone other than the resort. USD 50 departure cleaning fee will be collected at check-in. Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is 10am. Views are not guaranteed and are on a first come first served basis.
