About Hitching Post Inn
The Hitching Post Inn was built in the 1920s. This is one of the historic hotels in town and over the years many senators and congressman have used this hotel as their headquarters for their campaigns or while the session was on and the hotel got the nick name of The Hitch . There was no other hotel in town that provided everything like the Hitch and it had seen a lot of glorious days in its time. The food was excellent the rooms were grand. The hotel celebrated holidays with a grandeur and was the most popular place for everyone in town or people passing thru Cheyenne.
