The building was designed by renowned New Orleans architect James Gallier in 1831. In 1983, it underwent historical renovation. Resort amenities include a tropical courtyard with a wading pool. No pets allowed. Elevators are on site. A car is NOT necessary as public transportation is available. Parking is not available on site, however is available nearby at USD 18.00/day daily rate subject to change without notice. MOST RESORTS ARE RESTORED HISTORICAL BUILDINGS THAT REFLECT THE CHARM AND HISTORY OF THE CITY. THEY HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO OFFER COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATIONS THAT ARE TYPICALLY SMALLER AND HOLD AN AUTHENTIC APPEARANCE. DUE TO THE CITYS ATTRACTIONS, MOST PROPERTIES OFFER FEWER ON-SITE AMENITIES.
