About Hidden Oak Inn

The Hidden Oak Inn is a tastefully restored California Craftsman Bungalow built in 1914 by Ralph E. Murphy. This large two-story house has a high gabled roof and a front porch which is framed with Wisteria. The inn was originally a home for families and later a home for teachers and nurses during WWII. In the late 1940s the Episcopal Church which use to be next door purchased the home to use as a refectory. Then in 1984 the home was purchased by Jaques and Barbara Gasser to establish the Hidden Oak Bed and Breakfast. A delicious full breakfast is served on the weekends and an expanded Continental breakfast is served on weekdays both are served in the Dining Room or feel free to take a tray to your room. We are happy to accommodate your special dietary needs with advanced notice. The guestrooms are spacious and each is named for its lovely decor. All rooms are located upstairs and include queen-sized beds ceiling fans central air-conditioning and private baths.
