Summit Lodge and Spa becomes guests' "Tranquil Escape From the Everyday" as soon as they walk through the front door and into the "Living Room" lobby. The Living Room's local artwork, exposed stonewalls, leather furniture and large fireplace inspires guests to unwind and meet. Guests are invited to Elements Urban Tapas Parlour for a glass of wine at the hosted evening wine hour, between 5 and 6 pm daily. Part of Whistler's cedar forest runs adjacent to Summit and is perfect for romantic or introspective walks along paths that are lined with colorful birdhouses and chased by an landscaped stream. The Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa takes guests far away on a sensual journey through the Indonesian art of relaxation at the only Javanese Spa in North America.
Other hotel amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access, secured ski/bike/luggage storage, laundry facilities and year round heated outdoor pool and hot tub, along with a natural cedar sauna. The pet-friendly hotel welcomes pets with a treat and food and water dishes to use during their stay. Walking services are also available. Playpens are available for families with infants and toddlers.

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
1. Drive east out of the airport on Grant McConachie Way
2. Follow the hwy 99 North signs over the Arthur Lang Bridge onto Granville Street
3. Follow Granville Street north crossing the Granville Street Bridge
4. Shift to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit
5. Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street
6. Turn left onto Georgia Street
7. Georgia Street takes you through our lovely downtown core heading west, through Stanley Park (so pretty!) and over the Majestic Lions Gate Bridge
8. Exit the bridge on the Marine Drive west turnoff
9. Shift to the far right lane once on Marine Drive
10. Take the first right onto Taylor Way
11. Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1
12. Follow the signs to Whistler hwy 99
13. Once you reach the village, turn right onto Village Gate Boulevard
14. Take the first left onto Northlands Boulevard
15. Take the second entrance right into Main Street (horseshoe-shaped road that curves around)
