Since being purchased by the Richardson Group in 2001, it has undergone a sympathetic restoration that has exposed its magnificent Victorian and Art Deco architectural characteristics. The result is a perfect blend of modernity mixed with the opulence and grandeur of bygone days, when hotels were the places for society to be seen. The hotel has 131 bedrooms, 7 of which are Premier suites. The majority of rooms embrace the wonderful sea view and Torbay coastline. In addition to all the comforts and leisure facilities you would expect in a hotel, The Grand has one of the most advanced conference facilities in the south west, accommodating from 4 to 250 delegates and is also a sought after wedding venue.
