Huntsmans Lodge, with its roaring open fire centrepiece and stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Occupying a magnificent setting surrounded by acres of stunning scenery, inspired by the
hospitality of the Bannister family who have been part of the estate since the late 1960s, staff
work tirelessly to ensure every guest becomes a regular visitor.
The hotel is set in 1400 acres of land and are home to a variety of outdoor activities which are
ideal for both leisure and business customers alike. Try your hand at anything from clay pigeon
shooting to Falconry, Land Rover off road driving to archery or fly fishing and simulated animal
stalking to target golf. With experts on hand to offer help and advice based on years of
experience. As a leisure customer its easy to add activities to your break at the hotel, either by
booking in advance or simply contacting reception during your stay.
This is the perfect getaway destination, relax in the fresh air of the Yorkshire Dales, walk in
the hills, stroll along paths or discover ancient villages. The historic town of Skipton is a
short distance away where you can explore the 12th Century Castle and outdoor market. Howarth and
Bronte Country are within easy reach as is Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley. If you prefer a
faster pace the cities of Manchester, Leeds and Harrogate are less than an hour away, where you
will find designer shops, galleries and many interesting city attractions. |
