116 km of perfectly sign-posted hiking paths await you in the kingdom of King Laurin. Rotwand and the Rosengarten Peak are the most renowned mountains in the southern Rosengarten Mountain Group. Rotwand Mountain got its name from the south-western wall which is almost 400 metres high and overhanging. The Buhl Remembrance Path is well known to alpinists the 1st route in the 8th degree of the entire eastern Alps. Newer routes bear adventurous names like Zentralfriedhof central cemetery Moulin Rouge or Zwergenkoenig King of dwarves. The 9-hole golf course in Carezza is the highest golf course in South Tyrol. The par 70 golf course was newly designed on the former 18-hole golf course upon which Austrian nobility already played in 1907 by architect Marco Croze. A popular phrase says that the happiness of the world lies on the back of horses. Spend your leisure time on the back of the popular and original Hafl inger horses. Several riding stables offer riding classes for beginners as well as half-day and day tours. Nova Levante-Carezza was one of the fi rst mountain-bike regions in South Tyrol. The fi rst mountain-bike routes are all available by GPS. South Tyrol is known for its love of traditions. Hence traditions have also been preserved in Nova Levante-Carezza both from a cultural and culinary point of view. Carezza Ski King of the Dolomites The Carezza - Karersee ski resort offers some great highlights this winter season. The Hubertus circular cable railway for 8 and the new automatic chairlift for 4 Pra dei Tori as well as the Pope ski lift. Those who want to make sure there is enough snow for their sun skiing adventure will definitely find everything they long for at the bottom of the Catinaccio Mountain a new artificial snow-making facility with 170 snow machines guarantees snow from December to April. Starting this winter the Carezza Snow Guarantee guarantees snow on 98 percent of slopes. 40 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes with various levels of difficulty and two new slopes Hubertus Slope and Latemarwiesen Slope offer the possibility of skiing carving snowboarding telemarking at the highest level in a unique Dolomite landscape. The best of all the ski resort is conveniently situated and accessible within only 20 minutes of the Bolzano North Bolzano Nord motorway exit to the sunniest ski resort in South Tyrol between the Catinaccio and Latemar Mountains. The connection lift from Nova Levante to Carezza brings all skiers quickly and comfortably up the slopes. Thanks to the high transport capacities there is no waiting time to be expected. |

By rail and coach Bolzano station there are various daily connecting bus services to Nova Levante/Welschnofen-Lake Carezza/Karer See. Hotel pick-up on arrival on request.
