Opening December 2012 in the Hampshire countryside this eighteenth century manor house exudes genuine natural soul while still being informed by contemporary thinking - simple without being simplistic with memorable experiences born of integrity rather than revelling in the superfluous. Aesthetically this balance is achieved in the richly textured interior scheme that combines contemporary tweeds with classic pewters and cutting edge technology with eclectic antiques. Every detail has been thought through with care and passion until each of the 65 rooms and suites emerges different from the next.
This is the spirit of Heckfield - a new hotel with the feel of a private home set in 400 acres of garden woodland and rolling farmland. Guests can keep entirely to themselves but also find inspiration to engage in a wider discourse - from literary salons to musical recitals to foraging weekends in the ancient woodlands. With an underground cinema as well as an impressive art collection and a thoughtful library and numerous intimate spaces for private events - Heckfield Place is the focus of a living estate with a stake in the community. |

Heckfield Place is a 40 minute drive from both Heathrow and the capital on the easily accessed M3 motorway. Gatwick is a further 35 minutes by car. From Reading to the hotel it is just a 10 minute drive. |
