In fact, public transportation is very convenient from Secaucus, where you can easily get into the heart of Manhattan in a matter of minutes.Northern New Jersey is home to many famous people, including old blue eyes Frank Sinatra, actress Meryl Streep, rock stars Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, and biologist Alfred C. Kinsey. The Meadowlands area is also home to big business, which is why many visitors find themselves here in the first place. The entire state of New Jersey is known for its many diners, and you will find no shortage of this American culinary classic driving through the Meadowlands. Or, if youre a nature lover, you might enjoy taking a trip to some of the great nature preserves in the area, such as the South Mountain Reserve. Or, bring the family to Mountain Creek Park, which is a great place for skiing in the winter and is a water park in the summer.
