The newly renovated La Quinta Inn & Suites Butte, MT is located in the heart of southwest Montana, between the majestic national parks of Yellowstone and Glacier.
Stay a day or two and explore the city that built a nation from real underground mine tours to the William Clark Mansion. Take the half day tour to the top of our East Ridge, where Our Lady of the Rockies statue watches over her citizens, also allowing her visitors to see firsthand a bird's eye view of our surrounding area.
Tours abound: start off with trolley tours from the Butte Silver Bow Chamber of Commerce to give you a taste of what we have to offer. Old Butte Historical Adventures will take you above ground and underground to explore Butte's colorful history from the 1890's through the 1950's. The World Museum of Mining shows the many working lifestyles in Butte's heyday, but visiting the Mai Wah Museum and the Black Derby Cemetery Tours goes in depth on the personal side of who we were.
Experience both fine dining and local personal favorites at our many restaurants: steaks cooked to perfection or local specialties, pork chop sandwiches to pasties, no one ever leaves Butte hungry.
If outdoor activities are calling, then ask us about fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoe hiking. Anaconda, our sister city to the west is home to "The Old Works" a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
When the day is done unwind in our large lobby, grab a snack in our sundry shop before calling it a night in our guest rooms featuring pillow top beds and 32" flat panel televisions; and every guest room in this five story hotel offers amazing views of mountains, some rooms with park views others with city views, showcasing our nightly lit mining head frames.
